How do I share an app?

1. Sign in with Google and submit your app.
2. Add its name, description and a cover image. Include a website, GitHub repository or release, demo video, App Store or Android link where available.
3. Publish your app and share its public page. You can update or unpublish it later from My apps.

Apps can be silly, surprisingly elaborate or entirely pointless. You do not have to use AI to participate.

What is vibe coding?

Vibe coding is a way of building software by describing what you want to an AI coding tool and iterating on its output. Uselss Store welcomes those experiments alongside apps written by hand. The creator remains responsible for the app they publish.

Is it free to submit or enter a challenge?

Publishing an app and entering a weekly challenge are free. Participation does not require a paid listing. Rankings and contest votes cannot be purchased. External apps set their own access and pricing.

How do weekly challenges work?

Each weekly round has a theme. Submit one app you own from Monday through Friday UTC. Voting runs Saturday and Sunday UTC. A signed-in Google member can cast one emoji vote per entry and cannot vote for their own entry. Live scores stay hidden until results are finalized after the round closes.

Equal scores share a rank. Entries with no votes do not receive awards. See scheduled challenges and read the full rules.

Are app reactions the same as challenge votes?

No. App reactions contribute to the weekly and monthly community rankings. Challenge votes belong to a specific round and are counted separately. Changing an emoji does not add another vote.

Where can I try an app?

Open an app page and follow its website or demo link. Installable apps link to GitHub Releases, the App Store or an Android destination. Uselss Store hosts showcase content and images; executable installers stay with the creator’s download provider.

Editor picks are separately curated external projects, credited to their makers. They are not community submissions or contest entries.

Can Claude or Codex publish my app?

Yes. Create a personal API key while signed in, then use the Uselss Store CLI or HTTP API. An agent can publish and update your own apps using a stable external ID. Keep API keys in your environment rather than chat messages or source code.
